Purpose
The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office has developed a Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT) in recognition of the need to execute and manage high risk events that require special equipment and/or training beyond what is provided to the regular patrol deputy.
The Mission of the Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT) is to support the members of the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office with a tactical response to Critical Incidents.
