Welcome to the St. Charles Sheriff's Office Mobile Alert System.
We are pleased to announce the introduction of a new emergency notification system for the citizens of St. Charles Parish. From this site, you can register to receive immediate important text page alerts directly to your mobile telephone or alpha-numeric pager. Your cellular telephone must have text messaging capability enabled for you to receive this service and these messages. Most cellular provides do not charge their subscribers for this service, but usually the cost is low. You should contact your provider to find out more about what charges will be made.
Our intent with this service is to provide our citizenry immediate emergency information that will enable you to protect yourself, your family and your property. We intend to notify you only with such events as mandatory evacuations, road closures, and other local emergency situations that would also be broadcasted by parish officials. It will be used only for emergency notification.
