Emergency Activation
The Special Operations Division/Special Response Team activates during any hurricanes or tropical storms affecting St. Charles Parish.
The Special Response Team assists the
Marine Division with high-water rescue and other lifesaving missions. The Special Response Team provides routine checks on manufacturing facilities and other critical infrastructures in St. Charles Parish as well as coordinating with the military and outside law enforcement/SWAT teams.
