Responsibilities


The Human Resources Department provides services to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office such as: 

  • Recruitment of sworn and civilian personnel
  • Employee benefits such as insurance, pension administration, FMLA, etc.
  • Conduct investigative background checks of potential sworn and civilian candidates.  
  • Employee Injured on Duty
  • Scheduling job interviews as well as each part of the hiring process and conducting exit interviews of employees.   
  • Executes employee annual evaluation process.
  • Uniforms
